It's messages like this one that make me miss Paul Harvey even more because I think he would give great voice to the message.

Our family has switched to the gift exchange game. Everyone buys just one gift, we draw numbers and then pick and steal gifts---it's really fun and we limit the maximum price of the gift. The small kids get gifts but anyone over 18 becomes an adult and buys only one gift. The fun is in just getting together with family eating (a little drinking) and just talking and exchanging ideas and memories.
